After the stars Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Parookaville has signed the next top-class player with the Norwegian Kygo.

Germany’s largest festival for electronic music has engaged a star of the scene as headliner. Norwegian DJ Kygo (31) will be one of the main acts in Parookaville in July 2023. This has now been announced by the organizers of the festival at the airport in the city of Weeze in North Rhine-Westphalia.

With his debut song “Firestone”, Kygo is considered one of the founders of Tropical House. The DJ, whose real name is Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, has worked with the likes of Selena Gomez (30) and Rita Ora (32). He has performed at many important festivals, such as Tomorrowland in Belgium. The largest European festival is considered a role model for Parookaville.

Alok and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike also at the start in Parookaville

In addition to Kygo, Parookaville announces another prominent headliner. The Brazilian DJ Alok (31) is also coming to Weeze. He was supposed to appear in the festival city as early as 2020, but Corona threw a spanner in the works for the organizers. Unlike Kygo, however, Alok will not be on the main stage.

On the main stage, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will perform instead. The makers had already announced the commitment of the successful Belgian brothers last week.

Parookaville regular Frans Zimmer (37) alias Alle Farben is experiencing a rise this year. The Berliner is allowed to go to the main stage for the first time. The seventh edition of Parookaville will run from July 21-23, 2023.
