Lionel Messi and PSG is not yet the perfect love relationship. Recently there have been numerous rumors of a change, now the future seems clear.
Lionel Messi is set to stay at Paris Saint-Germain. Despite the contract running until 2023, there was speculation that the world star would leave, but things will probably be completely different now.
As Sky Sports News reported, Messi should not only stay at PSG, but also go into the new season as a fixed point. The French want to build the new team around Messi, which should start the renewed attack on the Champions League.
Messi with starting problems at PSG
After 17 years in FC Barcelona, Messi moved to Paris in the summer but faced some problems there. He only scored his first league goal for PSG at the end of November, so far there have only been four in 22 games. After all, he recently scored the goal for the championship.
After the national title, Messi wants to attack internationally again in the new season. With Messi, but then possibly without coach Mauricio Pochettino, whose future is uncertain. The same goes for Sergio Ramos and Neymar. Kylian Mbappe is set to join Real Madrid.
