Paris Hilton’s second baby was also carried by a surrogate mother. Not an easy decision, the hotel heiress now explained.
In the second season of “Paris In Love”, Paris Hilton (42) talks about the “difficult decision” to have her second child carried by a surrogate mother.
According to this, Hilton would have liked to live through the pregnancy experience herself: “I would have loved to see the baby grow in my stomach, feel the kicks and experience all those exciting moments,” quotes “People” from the first episode. The reason for the surrogacy was that Hilton’s life was “just so public.”
Paris Hilton also surprised her family with her second baby
Biologically, Hilton and her husband Carter Reum’s (42) daughter London is born through a surrogate mother. The birth of her second child was a big surprise for the public. As she recently did in the Talk show “Live! With Kelly & Mark” the hotel heiress also surprised her family with the new baby news. Accordingly, she showed up at Thanksgiving dinner without warning with the new baby in her arms. “They just couldn’t believe it. It was the best Thanksgiving I’ve ever had,” Paris said.
Paris’ son, Phoenix Barron Hilton, was born via a surrogate mother in January 2023. In the Interview with British “Glamour” Paris explained in March why she chose this method of having children. Back then, her life as a public figure wasn’t the reason.
Rather, she is afraid of doctors’ offices and the physical process of childbirth: an episode of her former reality show “The Simple Life,” in which she was in the room when a woman had a child, left her permanently traumatized. “But I really wanted a family, it’s just the physical part… I’m just so scared. Birth and death are the two things that scare me more than anything else in the world,” Paris said.
