Stefan Wagner was actually one of the high performers, i.e. one of the most committed. His company, a medium-sized Bavarian company, paid the engineer a six-figure annual salary and provided a company car. After six years there is a break: Wagner becomes a father. More precisely, he is going to be a father and wants to take eight months of parental leave. He is not denied the wish, but when the 41-year-old comes back to the company, “I almost only had assistant tasks”. Four months later, at the urging of his superior, he signs a termination agreement, says Wagner.
