Some students start crying when they are asked to read a text. They then have to leave the classroom and calm down first. Others sit on a staircase after an exam and tremble. Some just lost their drive. If you ask around at schools in the Munich district, you will learn that the corona pandemic, with its lockdowns, distance learning and contact restrictions, has left its mark on the mental health of students.
