A prestigious palace
At 11 a.m., Emmanuel Macron will enter the hall, the largest and most prestigious room in the palace, to the sound of the 1st movement of Handel’s oboe concerto.
The 8th president of the Fifth Republic will be the object of all eyes of the 500 people present, standing. Former presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande and ex-Prime Minister Edouard Philippe were invited but the Elysée Palace was unable to confirm their presence on Thursday.
