Colorful Easter eggs are part of every Easter celebration. Painting them yourself not only ensures individual results, but is also fun – not only for children.
In addition to the classic Easter lamb, they are part of every Easter celebration: colorful easter eggs. If you want to paint them yourself, you will not only end up with a very personal and individual decoration, but also make for a great family activity. You don’t need much for the colorful decoration. Creative ideas and the right tool are enough.

If you decide to use fresh eggs, you have to have them first blow out. Poke a hole in the top and bottom of the egg with a chopstick. Then blow out the contents of the egg and collect it in a bowl. You can either use it to make scrambled eggs or use it for baking. Put the chopstick through the holes so that you can hold and turn the egg better. Then you can start with the color.
You can either Paint Easter eggs in one color and then stick stickers, stones or other things on them. Or you paint filigree motifs by working with permanent markers. Plus, these ideas can be worthwhile.

- First you fill a container with water and then add the color of your choice. It is best to choose three or four different colors to put in. Which you choose is of course up to you. Then draw a pattern with a skewer. If you want to paint Easter eggs with children, you should also lay out newspaper so that there is not too much mess.
- Now put on your gloves, insert a skewer or chopstick into the egg and dip it in the paint for a few seconds with a twisting motion.
- Take it out and let it dry well. Depending on your taste, you can further refine the pattern by hand. This is very easy to do by applying patterns with a brush. After that, patience is required: it takes about 20 minutes to dry. The best way to do this is to poke the eggs into the upside-down egg carton with a skewer or chopstick. Alternatively, place the small works of art in a vase or other suitable container.
Elegant easter eggs
You can work with lace for particularly elegant Easter eggs. For this you need:

First, wrap the lace ribbon or fabric tightly around the blown or plastic egg. Then put on gloves and spray paint it with the color of your choice. This is best done outside. Once that’s done, let the whole thing dry and pull off the tape at the end. An elegant pattern is complete. If necessary, you can also work with metallic pens or glitter beads. If you prefer, you can also color the egg with the varnish and wrap or glue the lace ribbon around it at the end.

For cute bunnies or other animal figures, you will need the basic equipment (eggs and hangers) as well permanent marker in black and pink or other colors of your choice.

Paint the Easter eggs with a permanent marker and conjure up an animal face on the white egg, such as a cute rabbit face. You can put the eggs in the egg carton and start painting. Of course, it takes a little finesse. You can decorate the box appropriately if the Easter eggs are to remain in them at the end. You can also hang up the cute eggs. If you like, you can also stick ears on it with craft paper or add other extras.
You can then display the finished works of art either on branches in a vase, hang them up in the garden or let them work in bowls or decorated egg cartons in the apartment.
