Packages swapped: Senior gets drugs instead of kitchen utensils
A package containing drugs was delivered to a senior citizen in the Lake Constance district at the beginning of the week. The man went to the police.

A 74-year-old from the western Lake Constance district received a package containing several grams of marijuana and hashish instead of the kitchen appliance he had ordered. The two packages were probably mixed up during shipping, the police said on Friday.

As the Ravensburg police headquarters announced, the package contained several grams of marijuana and hashish. Investigators suspect that the two deliveries were probably mixed up during shipping.
According to the information, the man ordered the device online. When he received the package containing drugs earlier this week, he reported the incident to the police. A spokesman did not want to say where exactly the incident occurred and what kitchen appliance was involved “for reasons of investigation tactics”.
The other recipient may also be surprised by the package
The officials have not yet been able to determine who was supposed to receive the drugs and whether the actual recipient was now enjoying a new kitchen appliance. In the current hustle and bustle surrounding “Black Friday”, retailers are heavily advertising the sale of all kinds of bargains. It’s probably not surprising that sometimes a package is delivered incorrectly.
