Over seven hills: cycling in Rome – travel

from

A few years ago people were thought to be crazy. Cycling in Rome with all this crazy traffic? The cobblestones? Without bike paths? Of course, it was never safe, whether as a tourist or an everyday cyclist in this city, and at some point you can feel the seven hills in your legs. But at the same time Rome looks very different from the saddle, you hear the city, you smell it, and it is shrinking. Destinations for which you have to change trains several times with the mezzi, public transport, are suddenly very close.
