On Good Friday the sky over Germany is expected to be mostly cloudy. The south can look forward to sunshine and temperatures of up to 21 degrees.

The long Easter weekend begins south of the Danube friendly. The German Weather Service (DWD) announced dry weather with lots of sun. In the foothills of the Alps it can even get up to 21 degrees.

The center of the country is less lucky when it comes to the weather on Good Friday: the sky there will initially be very cloudy, and a band of rain will move from west to east, it is said. In the afternoon it should be dry and somewhat sunny in most parts of Germany.

According to the meteorologists, the area from Saarland to the east is exempt from this: it could still rain here in the afternoon, and thunderstorms are possible in some places. Nevertheless, mild temperatures are expected across the country with 10 to 15 degrees in the northwest and 14 to 19 degrees in the southeast. Saturday night is expected to be cloudy and rainy in the west with lows of 10 to 4 degrees and mostly dry in the south.
