After spring-like temperatures at Easter in many places, things are getting uncomfortable again. What the German Weather Service predicts for the coming days.

After the Easter days with pleasant weather in many places, it will be changeable and rainy in Germany in the coming days. During the night on Tuesday, rain will gather, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Easter Monday.

During the day there is windy April weather with repeated showers, especially in the northern half. There could also be short thunderstorms with stormy gusts and sleet, it said. Showers and thunderstorms are less likely in the south.

The meteorologists are expecting maximum values of 11 to 16 degrees. The gusty winds can make the temperatures feel a little fresher. At higher altitudes there are also stormy gusts or gusts of wind.

For Wednesday, the meteorologists expect a rather rainy day. Only in the east will it remain dry for longer periods. In the afternoon there will also be breaks in the rain in the west and north-west. A rough wind with strong, sometimes stormy gusts is expected to pick up in the west and south-west. Temperatures reach 9 to 16 degrees.

According to the weather service, changeable weather and repeated showers will continue on Thursday. Brief thunderstorms are also to be expected. From time to time the sun shows up. “In addition, a lively and sometimes gusty wind is whistling around our ears,” said DWD meteorologist Markus Böse. The maximum temperatures are then between 8 and 14 degrees.
