Ousmane Dembele’s agent takes on Barcelona: ‘The truth must be told’

There is a risk of escalation in the negotiations between FC Barcelona and Ousmane Dembele. His advisor now speaks plain language.
Moussa Sissoko, advisor to offensive player Ousmane Dembele, has verbally attacked his club FC Barcelona for the approach to negotiations on a possible contract extension.
“If Barcelona want to talk, they could have tried to come to a table with us. There are no talks, only threats that he will not play again. And that is forbidden. We will enforce Ousmane Dembele’s rights if necessary.” , quoted RMC SportsSissoko.
Dembele’s contract expires in the summer. Talks about an extension have so far failed. From the club’s point of view, the main reason for this should be the exaggerated salary expectations of the former BVB professional. His adviser has now partially confirmed this.
“Yes, we have demanding demands, but we have already shown that Ousmane’s choice of club was not dictated by money, otherwise he would not be here,” continued Sissoko.
Agent: Barca ‘on track to lose Ousmane’
the Mundo Deportivo recently reported on a 48-hour ultimatum for Dembele to accept or reject Barca’s present offer. “It doesn’t work for people like us. Maybe it works for advisors who are allied with FC Barcelona. That’s not the case for me,” Sissoko was outraged. “I represent my player’s interests. We’re not here to stir up debates on social media either. But the truth must be told!”
The agent also stated that no decision has yet been made as to whether his client will stay at Blaugrana or move on a free transfer in the summer. “We don’t know what we’re going to do, nothing is decided. But the bosses are well on their way to losing Ousmane,” he said.
