Teenagers with airsoft guns trigger police operation at school

The Osnabrück police had a major operation at a high school in Osnabrück. After the mission ended, she named the trigger: teenager with an airsoft gun.
In Osnabrück police had a major operation at a school. Only after the end of the operation did she give the reason: “The reason for the operation was the indication of an armed person who was supposed to be in the area of the school center,” it says in a press release. “Two 14-year-olds were arrested on school grounds who were carrying an airsoft gun.” The school was searched by special forces because of information about a third person. There are no injuries and follow-up work by school psychologists and teachers is ongoing.
Shortly after 11 a.m., the Osnabrück police wrote on A little later, the police asked people to leave the street. A slight all-clear follows: “According to what we know so far, there are no injuries. We have a lot of forces on site to clarify the situation.” At 11:56 a.m. the police promise to provide confirmed information as soon as it is available.
“There are NO injured! The students are being protected by the police. There have been no arrests so far. We are still on site with many forces to clarify the situation,” the police wrote at 12:13 p.m.
Osnabrück police give the all-clear
At 1:14 p.m. the police gave the all-clear: “We can now give the all-clear regarding the operational situation around the high school on Knollstrasse in #Osnabrück! There is NO longer any DANGER! Further details about the operation will follow.” With the Press release from 1:43 p.m the Osnabrück police then kept this promise.
