Faced with Alexandre Lacazette’s withdrawal, Gift Orban will experience his first leading start in Ligue 1. The Nigerian will have the difficult task of replacing his captain for OL – Lens.

This was the bad news from the announcement of the Lyon group for the reception of Lens this Sunday. Despite Pierre’s great optimism Wise Friday at a press conference, Alexandre Lacazette did not successfully complete the match eve training and therefore had to forfeit. A hard blow for OL as their captain remains the number one offensive weapon but without him, the Lyonnais will have to get in tune to make people forget his absence. Lacazette forfeits, so it’s Gift Orban who will occupy the forefront of OL’s attack this Sunday evening at Décines. After starting inside against Metz but on a wing, the Nigerian has the opportunity to set the record straight against Lens.

In the 4-3-3 concocted by Pierre Sage, Orban is the only real change compared to the Coupe de France quarter-final. Having left his place to Lucas Perri against Strasbourg, Anthony Lopes finds his place in the OL goal with a defense which once again continues with Maitland-Niles on the right side. Although a little behind on Tuesday in the midfield, Orel Mangala keeps his place alongside Maxence Cackle and Nemanja Matic.

The composition of OL against Lens: Lopes – Maitland-Niles, O’Brien, Caleta-Car, Tagliafico – Caqueret, Matic, Mangala – Nuamah, Orban, Benrahma
