Ora Funky Cat From China: The Car That Can Be Named – Travel

from

Peter Fahrenholz, Munich

For a long time, German automakers could rely on doing business with China as a kind of one-way street. Quality “Made in Germany” sold splendidly on the huge Chinese market. Conversely, what came from China, if anything at all, was cheap copier goods, far inferior in both appearance and technology. But that is about to change. Chinese manufacturers are entering the European market with force, with cars that are on par in terms of design, technology and safety and could cause problems for the incumbent manufacturers. The latest example is the Ora Funky Cat, which will be delivered to dealers in the next few weeks. The SZ was able to test drive the “crazy cat” on Mallorca. And the first impression is quite promising.
