Opportunities for working-class children: we owe it to working-class children – Economy

Many a colleague only realizes years later why he feels out of place in the canteen conversation, and many an employee realized that she was too shy about negotiating her salary because the boss was constantly using foreign words: the facets in which a background as “Worker’s child” – if you want to use the term in such a general way – are as diverse as people’s lives. But there is a general trend: Those who have parents who have not studied themselves lack knowledge and contacts, and they have a harder time on the job market. This is tragic for individuals, problematic for society and damaging for the economy.
