A driver left the road on Thursday afternoon in heavy snowfall and slippery roads between the Gada industrial park and Bergkirchen Lus. The man was unharmed. According to the police, the 31-year-old drove from the Indersdorf community area at around 1:45 p.m. in the direction of Bergkirchen Lus. Shortly after the motorway bridge, he continued straight ahead in a left turn and ended up in a field. There was property damage of around 20,000 euros.
Between Tandern and Gartelsried, a driver also got off the road on Thursday afternoon on snow and rolled over. He suffered serious injuries. According to the police report, the 24-year-old drove on the DAH 8 district road in the direction of Tandern. The man from Augsburg came off the road to the right on a slippery road. His vehicle overturned in an adjacent field. The man was taken to the Aichach hospital with serious injuries. His car was no longer drivable and had to be towed away. There was property damage of around 5000 euros.
Fine proceedings will be initiated against both drivers for not adjusting their speed.
