The lifeless body of a man was found on Tuesday in the rubble of a building ravaged by fire, announced the Var firefighters. The fire started early this Tuesday morning on the fourth and last floor of this apartment building located in the town of Hyères.
During the operation, two firefighters were slightly injured, said the departmental intervention and rescue service (Sdis). Thirty people were evacuated and the rapid action of the firefighters made it possible to contain the disaster and prevent it from spreading to adjacent dwellings. These funds, however, could only note that the death of the man remained a prisoner of his accommodation.
