A road accident occurred this Sunday, August 7 in the town of Kerfourn, 70 km from Lorient. The accident, a violent frontal impact – which remains to be confirmed, involved a minivan and a city car, with three people on board. Among the four victims, a 19-year-old man, a passenger in the city car, died. The others, aged 33 to 21, are hospitalized at the Kério hospital center in Noyal-Pontivy, according to the regional daily. The Telegram.
Large resources were mobilized for this rescue operation, with a road rescue van and four rescue vehicles from Kerfourn, Noyal-Pontivy, Réguiny and Rohan, as well as the Smur from the Kério hospital centre. The gendarmes and the deputy commander of the autonomous territorial brigade of Pontivy were also present at the scene. A diversion was set up in Pontivy, which was lifted around 10 p.m.
