one dead and one seriously injured while avoiding a wild boar on a road in Lorraine



The accident occurred Monday evening at the edge of the forest on the RD115, shortly before 7 p.m. More precisely between Flavigny-sur-Moselle and Azelot, small towns in the south of Nancy. A motorist would have lost control of his car trying to avoid a wild boar, reports Eastern Republican.

The car then rolled off before hitting violently a tree stump. The young driver, seriously injured, managed to escape from the vehicle immobilized on the roof. On the other hand, his passenger, a young man of 19 years, seriously injured remained stuck in the passenger compartment.

Arrived on site, the firefighters extricated the young man and the two victims were transported to the emergency room in Nancy, with a vital prognosis for the passenger, specify our colleagues. In vain. The latter succumbed to his injuries shortly after being taken over at the CHRU.
