one dead, 23 vehicles including 9 heavy goods vehicles involved in a monster pile-up

Another accident on the A89

Another pileup occurred on the A89, in the Bordeaux/Lyon direction at Sainte-Colombe-sur-Gand, a little before the Violay tunnel, this Monday, December 5, around 9 a.m.

This accident involved 6 vehicles. A dozen firefighters were on site as well as the highway teams.

There was only material damage. Again, the fog and ice combo would be the cause of the collisions.
