Charles and Camilla honored the late Queen with a visit to church. The monarch would have turned 98 on Sunday.

King Charles III (75) and his wife Queen Camilla (76) visited a church in Scotland last Sunday to honor the late Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), who would have turned 98 on April 21st. The royal couple were spotted leaving the service at Crathie Kirk, near their Balmoral estate, as “People” magazine reports, citing a photo.

The picture shows Charles behind the wheel of a car, Camilla sat in the passenger seat, both smiling. As the king drove, Camilla waved to the visitors they passed.

Sarah Ferguson is reminiscent of the Queen

Charles’ mother Queen Elizabeth died at Balmoral Castle on September 8, 2022 at the age of 96. She ruled the United Kingdom for more than 70 years. Recalled on social media on Sunday also Sarah Ferguson (64), ex-wife of Prince Andrew (64) and the Queen’s former daughter-in-law, to the monarch. “Today we remember Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,” she wrote alongside a photo of the Queen.

Camilla is working again

After an Easter break and a short trip to Scotland, Queen Camilla resumed her royal work at the beginning of last week. She is currently representing her husband Charles, who is being treated for cancer, at many appointments. Charles is currently only attending audiences at Buckingham Palace, but appeared with his family at church in Windsor at Easter.
