An accident on the set of “Gladiator 2” has sent several crew members to the hospital. However, there is no danger to life.

Several members of the film crew were injured in an accident during the shooting of the “Gladiator” sequel. This is reported by the US industry website “The Hollywood Reporter”. and quotes a spokesman for the producing film studio Paramount Pictures as saying: “The security forces and medical teams on site were able to intervene quickly so that those affected received the necessary treatment immediately.”

The accident, which happened on June 7, continues: “They are all in stable condition and are still receiving treatment. The well-being of the cast and crew is our top priority and we have strict health and safety precautions in place in force for all our productions.”

Filming is on again

The film by director Ridley Scott (85) is currently being shot in Morocco. According to the report, the nature of the accident has not yet been communicated. Variety had previously reportedthat six people were affected by the incident and four of them are still in the hospital.

Filming on the sequel to the 2000 Oscar film has continued since then. Instead of Russell Crowe (59), Paul Mescal (27) will play the leading role, with other roles including Pedro Pascal (48), Denzel Washington (68) and Joseph Quinn (29). The film is scheduled to hit theaters in November 2024.
