A 64-year-old pedelec rider was seriously injured in a traffic accident on the B 304 on Tuesday evening. As reported by the Ebersberg police, the accident happened around 7 p.m. near Reitgesing. The cyclist was rammed from behind by a 70-year-old driver who, like him, was driving in the direction of Wasserburg. According to the police, the 64-year-old had to be taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The 70-year-old driver suffered a shock but was otherwise unharmed. The car suffered damage of around 5,000 euros, and the pedelec was also badly damaged.
In consultation with the Munich public prosecutor’s office, an expert was called to the scene of the accident to reconstruct the exact course of the accident.
