Author Omid Scobie claims in a new book that the “spoiled” King Charles had an extravagant and luxurious lifestyle.
A new book about the royal family is causing a stir in Britain even before its publication. The author Omid Scobie (42), who was considered a confidant of Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42), is publishing “Endgame” on Tuesday. “The Sun” reports on the work in advance.
According to the report, the author claims, among other things, that after Harry and Meghan’s Netflix documentary from last year in which they made accusations against the royal family, an “angry” Charles allegedly called his son Harry a “fool”.

According to the “Sun”, the book also says that Harry’s brother Prince William (41) and his wife, Princess Kate (41), watched the episode of the animated series “South Park” in which the makers made fun of the Sussexes. thought it was “hilarious”.
The early 2023 episode, titled “Worldwide Privacy Tour,” revolved around a “Prince of Canada” and his wife who settled in a small mountain town. The characters’ similarities to Harry and Meghan were hard to miss. In the series, the couple carried signs that read, “We want our privacy” and “Stop looking at us,” among other things. This is intended to be an allusion to the Sussexes, who on the one hand assert their privacy and on the other hand repeatedly seek publicity with interviews, Netflix documentaries and memoirs.

According to the Sun, other claims from Omid Scobie’s new book have already been rejected by royal experts, such as the speculation that Prince William and King Charles are on opposite courses. Author Phil Dampier told the newspaper: “It is utter nonsense to suggest that William and the king would ever come to blows.” The two are therefore “incredibly close”.

Meghan and Harry have nothing to do with the book
Omid Scobie explained according to “Sky News” about his new book, he did not interview Duchess Meghan for this. However, the author revealed that he and the Duchess have “common friends” – something he said helps “in obtaining information and important details” about the royal family.
