A nice bet for OM

Author of a great season in English D2 in 2022-2023 with 10 goals and 6 assists in 39 appearances, Ismaïla Sarr will try to take a step forward with this signing in Marseille. A true winger capable of playing both on the right and on the left side, the Senegalese has a profile capable of perfectly integrating into the 4-4-2 game system advocated by Marcelino.

Ismaïla Sarr signed up for five seasons until June 2028 with OM and the club chaired by Pablo Longoria paid around 11 million euros (plus bonuses and a percentage on resale) for his transfer.

Winner of the CAN in 2022 with the Teranga Lions, Ismaïla Sarr will notably try to take over from Dimitri Payet. Legend of the Marseille club, the Reunionese announced his departure last Friday during a moving press conference.
