For once, Katarina Witt, 56, is not on the boards at these Winter Games. She stayed in Germany, but will comment on some of the competitions for television. The four-time world champion and Olympic champion of the games in Sarajevo in 1984 and in Calgary in 1988 now observes figure skating from a distance.
