Apparently, Oliver Stone doesn’t have much time for one or the other film series. He now blasphemed about “John Wick” and “Fast & Furious”.

Director Oliver Stone (76) apparently doesn’t have much time for some successful Hollywood productions. Movies like “John Wick” and “Fast & Furious” are apparently not among his favorites. In conversation with the US industry portal “Variety” The Oscar winner revealed that he recently saw Keanu Reeves’ (58) film “John Wick 4” on a flight – and that he is not a fan. “I find the film incredibly disgusting. Disgusting,” Oliver Stone complains.

“I don’t know what people are thinking,” Stone said of film producers and directors. Nothing in the strip is believable, he explained. “I realize it’s a movie, but it’s more of a video game than a movie.” The director says that today’s movies “have lost touch with reality,” adding that audiences may like this “video game” but are bored: “How many cars can crash? How many stunts can you do? What’s the difference between ‘Fast & Furious’ and any other film?” It is one like the other. “Whether it’s a superhuman Marvel character or just a human like John Wick doesn’t make a difference. It’s not believable.”

Oliver Stone doesn’t want to complain

Oliver Stone is known for films such as “Platoon”, “Wall Street”, “Natural Born Killers” or “Born on the 4th of July”. He has received three Oscars so far and has been nominated for eight other Golden Boys. He has also been presented with five Golden Globes.

Stone also “doesn’t want to complain,” the star director told Variety. “I’ve done 20 feature films. Maybe I can do 21 before I go. That would be nice,” he revealed. “I have one in mind, but I won’t tell you what it is.”
