Oliver Pocher filmed an episode of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” with Amira. Then came the collapse and an important moment for the comedian, which he describes in the current podcast.

Freshly recycled”, which he recorded for the fourth time with his first ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden, he gives listeners an insight into what happened after the popular show. He talks about the fact that he was told that there could be a man close to Amira where he suspects “there is something there”. On that weekend in October, “things got really steep,” says Pocher.

Pocher then talks about a professional request for which he would have had to fly to Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, the job request overlapped with looking after the two boys he has with Amira. He then quickly asked Amira if she could help out and look after the children. “It was about a few tens of thousands of euros… It wasn’t like flying there for a bit of fun and expenses.” But Amira refused.

Oliver Pocher went on research

Pocher’s inquiry as to whether her stay in Vienna was of a professional nature and whether it would be possible to postpone some of her planning did not change this. “No, you can’t postpone that, it’s been decided for weeks, you can’t do it,” was Amira’s answer, according to Pocher. Oliver Pocher then had to reject the job request.

But he had the idea to see where the supposed man who was supposed to be near Amira would be on that weekend. His research and stalking of the man’s tour schedule revealed that he would be in Vienna at the same time as his estranged wife. “Then the event just got momentum,” said Pocher in the podcast. Amira herself is said to have been a guest at the event in Vienna on a Friday with a cap on her head, was recognized by fans and even took photos.

Sandy hasn’t given up her wish that a patchwork family could still spend Christmas together. In the podcast, she offers to come from Miami to Cologne with the three Pocher children and her two from her second marriage so that everyone could spend Christmas together. So far it seems unclear what Christmas Eve will look like at Pochers.
