On Thursday evening, the Luftwaffe plane from Berlin arrived at Dulles Airport near Washington, DC, aboard the Chancellor. Olaf Scholz did not have a large entourage with him, as is usual on such trips, no reporters, but on Friday he had an appointment with Joe Biden, the US President.
