Chancellor Olaf Scholz suffered an accident while jogging. He fell and suffered bruises on his face. An appointment in Hesse had to be canceled.
After a sports injury, Chancellor Olaf Scholz canceled an appointment planned for Sunday in Hesse. He fell while jogging and suffered bruises on his face, a spokeswoman for the federal government said on Saturday when asked by the “Bild-Zeitung”.

The spokeswoman: “Unfortunately, Chancellor Olaf Scholz has to cancel his appointments in Hesse this Sunday after a small sports accident. He fell while jogging and suffered bruises on his face. His appointments for the coming week are not affected by this.”
His appointments in the coming week are not affected. Scholz was expected on Sunday in Hesse for election campaign dates. The federal state will hold elections on October 8th. The “Frankfurter Rundschau” had previously reported.
