A victory is therefore essential against Clermontois, 11th, in difficulty who remain on six matches without a win in L1.
For this meeting, Blanc, deprived of four players (Tolisso, Gusto, Henrique, Tagliafico), renews almost the same men as in Brest. He makes a single change in the absence of Tolisso with the tenure of Thiago Mendes in midfield. Da Silva is still aligned to the left of the defense while Cherki continues in support of Lacazette. On the Clermont side, there is a lack of people (Caufriez, Gonalons and Zeffane) but Pascal Gastien remains faithful to his 3-4-2-1. Ogier replaces Caufriez in defense otherwise for the rest it is classic with in particular the Khaoui-Rashani duo in support of Andric, preferred to Kyei.
