Oktoberfest: Portrait of the Schützenlisl tent at the Oidn Wiesn – Munich

The Schützenlisl Volkssänger Tent is managed by Lorenz Stiftl and his wife Christine. The Stiftls have been at the Wiesn for 20 years and have previously had the small tent Zum Stiftl, to the left of the Löwenbräuzelt. In 2022 they were awarded the Volkssänger tent at the Oidn Wiesn for the first time, which was previously called Zur Schönheitskönigin.

She became a commoner, namely the Schützenlisl. However, it has not changed in stature, it is actually the same tent. However, it has been significantly redecorated. 1396 guests have space inside, another 400 more outside in the beer garden.

There is Augustiner beer to drink, and the music program will be provided by the folk musician Traudl Siferlinger, known from the BR television program, among other things Pub musicians at the Hirzinger. It’s a colorful mix of tried and tested things like that Dellnhauser musicians and newbies like that Werdnfoiserwoifahrts Musi. The youngsters also get their chance at the Oidn Wiesn.
