The rules for reserving tables at the Oktoberfest are always a cause for dispute – and practically every year new regulations are added and old ones are changed. The city council decided on an innovation in May: the hosts should ensure that leftover consumption stamps can be redeemed by December 31st; mostly in the pubs that the Oktoberfest landlords run during the year. So far, the deadline was October 31st, almost four weeks after the end of the Wiesn.
