Official: Yusuf Demir leaves FC Barcelona and returns to Rapid Vienna

Now it’s official: Yusuf Demir is already leaving FC Barcelona and returning to Rapid Vienna in Austria.

Attacking player Yusuf Demir is leaving FC Barcelona during the winter break and is returning to Austria to join Rapid Vienna. Both clubs announced this on Thursday.

Rapid Managing Director Sport Zoran Barisic stated: “There were extremely intensive discussions with and between many parties involved, but now I am extremely happy that we have come to a very good solution for everyone. The loan contract with FC Barcelona is being terminated at the same time extends Yusuf Demir with us early until the end of the 2023/24 season.”

Demir was loaned to Barca by Rapid
