Odys Neo e100: An e-scooter with power and endurance

e-mobility is becoming more and more important – for reasons of sustainability, but also as an alternative to delayed trains or overcrowded buses. Anyone who regularly rents e-scooters to get from A to B may even consider buying their own. There are many different aspects that should be taken into account. Odys advertises the new Neo e100 model with a particularly high range and maximum load.

The e-scooter “Legend” from IO Hawk convinces with a long range and premium components. IMTEST has already made a test drive.

These are the strengths of the new e-scooter

Under optimal conditions, the new Odys Neo e100 should have a range of up to 100 kilometers with the 675-watt-hour battery. This roughly corresponds to the distance from Hamburg-Harburg to Bremen. But of course you shouldn’t drive the e-scooter on the motorway. Due to legal regulations in Germany, the maximum speed is limited to 20 km/h. According to the manufacturer, there is also a standard mode at 15 km/h and a pedestrian mode at 5 km/h. These speeds can be intercepted again with the built-in brakes. There is a disc brake on the front wheel and a motor brake on the rear wheel.

With a motor output of 500 watts, the e-scooter should be able to easily overcome gradients of up to 30 percent. For more driving comfort, there are additional suspensions on the front and rear wheels. Furthermore, the Odys NEo e100 has 10-inch pneumatic tires and is weatherproof (IP55).
So that taller people can also ride the e-scooter, the new Odys model should offer a particularly wide tread, a handlebar with a height of 106 centimeters and a maximum load capacity of 140 kilograms. It can be controlled via the built-in display and the associated app.
