You were not allowed to come to him with shallow questions. And certainly not with superficial articles. Götz W. Werner was always concerned with depth, with the core of the matter, also with the essence of his entrepreneurial activity. So please no trifles about the small things of everyday business. The founder of dm, the largest drugstore chain in Germany, was driven by what holds the world together at its core. He wrote books about it, gave speeches, that’s what he ultimately lived for until his death this Tuesday.
