Obituary: Adolf Dinglreiter is dead – Bavaria

Adolf Dinglreiter is still vividly remembered by the people of southeast Bavaria, even after his involvement in politics and society ended. After all, Dinglreiter was a multi-functional person: the trained farmer and business economist sat for the CSU in the Bavarian state parliament from 1986 to 2003, where he developed a reputation as an expert on economics and transport.

Above all, Dinglreiter was active in a variety of ways in his hometown of Rosenheim – not only in the city council, but also at TSV 1860 Rosenheim, which he led for 40 years. After all, Dinglreiter held the chairmanship of the Bayernbund for 25 years. The association, which was founded in 1921, is committed to preserving customs and dialect. Adolf Dinglreiter died last Friday at the age of 88.
