First trailer for the new “Star Wars” series

Disney+ has released the first trailer for the new Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
In May, Obi-Wan Kenobi, the latest Star Wars series, launches on Disney+. The streaming service has now released the first trailer for the offshoot of the sci-fi saga. The clip opens with scenes from the Jedi Master. “The fight is over. We lost,” Ewan McGregor (50) can be heard in his role. “Stay hidden,” says Obi-Wan Kenobi, watching young Luke Skywalker from afar.
The story of the series begins about ten years after the devastating events of “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith”. Disney + also has a ray of hope for fans, because “between darkness and defeat, hope survives,” the trailer continues.
The Return of Obi-Wan and Darth Vader
And not only McGregor returns with his iconic character. Hayden Christensen (40) will also be seen again as Darth Vader. Also in attendance are Joel Edgerton (47), Kumail Nanjiani (44), Indira Varma (48), Moses Ingram, Bonnie Piesse (38), Rupert Friend (40), Sung Kang (49) and O’Shea Jackson Jr .(31).
As announced in February, “Obi-Wan Kenobi” will be available on Disney+ from May 25th.
