A construction worker had a fatal accident on a construction site in Obersendling on Wednesday. The 49-year-old was buried under a fallen concrete staircase in the shell of a house on Geisenhausenerstrasse in the afternoon, the fire department announced.
His colleagues immediately called the fire department. When they arrived at the scene of the accident, the emergency services lifted the concrete stairs to free the construction worker. However, they were only able to determine the death of the 49-year-old. The man’s colleagues were looked after by the crisis service.
Commissariat 13, which is responsible, among other things, for industrial accidents, has started investigating the cause of the accident.
