Three days after the burglary in an Oberschleißheim auto repair shop, the police arrested a suspect on Monday. According to the previous investigations, the 24-year-old broke into the workshop on Mittenheimer Straße on Friday between 2.15 a.m. and 3.15 a.m. and stole several vehicle keys. When he was disturbed, he fled in the direction of the nearby Oberschleißheim S-Bahn station. The police immediately launched a manhunt, which also included a police helicopter. Nevertheless, the perpetrator initially disappeared. The securing of evidence at the scene of the crime and further investigations brought the desired success, on Monday the alleged perpetrator was arrested by officers from the Milbertshofen police station near the scene of the crime. He is now being investigated, among other things, for a particularly serious case of theft.
