Oberschleißheim – cyclist collides with vans – district of Munich

A 70-year-old woman from the Munich district suffered injuries in a collision with a van on Friday afternoon in Oberschleißheim. The woman drove around 4.15 p.m. on the sidewalk along Freisinger Straße, which is also open to cyclists, in the direction of Dachau. At that time, a 47-year-old man was on the road with his van and wanted to turn right from Freisinger Straße onto a property. He drove over the sidewalk and there was a collision. The 70-year-old fell, had to be treated on site by an emergency doctor and finally came to a hospital for treatment. Freisinger Strasse in the direction of Dachau had to be closed for one and a half hours while the accident was being recorded.
