Oberschleißheim – Chapel in honor of Saint Konrad – District of Munich

The chapel in front of the Maria Patrona Bavariae church in Oberschleißheim and the group of sculptures in it have been renovated and restored. The parish association managed to restore it with the help of donations and the initiative of the fraternities and children’s associations as well as the church administration. This Sunday, May 15, the chapel will be inaugurated at 10.30 a.m. with a festive service and blessed in honor of Holy Brother Konrad. Konrad von Parzam (1818-1894) is considered the patron saint of Catholic boys’ clubs. He lived in the Capuchin monastery in Altötting, which is named after him today, and was canonized in 1934.
