Break at the Oberschleißheim tourist office: the founding chairman Gerhart Maier has retired after ten years. The new chairman is Mayor Markus Böck (CSU). Maier started the association and has shaped it ever since. The association announced that he had set up a tourism office in the Wilhelmshof of the old castle against all advice. This has become a figurehead for the community, a range of goods from the region is now being sold in a shop. Visits to trade fairs in Augsburg and Stuttgart are planned for the first time next year in cooperation with the district of Munich.
