The repair of the indoor swimming pool in Oberschleißheim is dragging on. After a water pipe burst, the dilapidated facility has been closed for a week, and the basin has been left out completely. “The repair is not that easy due to the circumstances,” said Mayor Markus Böck (CSU) cautiously when asked. One can “not yet estimate” the duration of the closure. The basin had been emptied “so that no more water is lost”. The indoor pool was only routinely checked and serviced during the Corona break, so that the community was pleased to announce that the pool would be open for the entire summer vacation this year. The bathroom is supposed to be rebuilt, but because the community lost almost all of its savings in the Greensill Bank bankruptcy, there is no money for it.
