After a water skiing accident on the Danube in Obernzell, Lower Bavaria, in the district of Passau, a 55-year-old man is missing. According to initial police findings, the man was waterskiing behind a boat on Sunday afternoon when he got caught in the propeller, a spokesman said.
The man lost a leg and then sunk in the river. Local shipping was temporarily suspended after the accident.
