A new exhibition will be presented in the Lesarts gallery in Deisenhofen from Friday, September 2nd: The Munich artist Corinna Beelitz is showing works that depict cities or landscapes under the title “Lovely Arts”: 3D pop art – collage-like images , painted with gouache colors, cut out by hand, lined. She selects particularly memorable monuments that define the city and transforms them into her little works of art. This results in a focused reproduction of the respective motif in a small space. Her work is vaguely reminiscent of the technique of the late pop artist James Rizzi. The exhibition in the gallery in the bookshop Kempter, Stefanienstraße 1, lasts until September 29th. Interested parties have the opportunity to get to know the artist personally in the gallery on Saturday, September 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
