Oberhaching – motorcyclist crashes on the highway – district of Munich

A 38-year-old motorcyclist from Grünwald had an accident with his machine at the Oberhaching motorway junction. According to the Holzkirchner Autobahn police, the biker wanted to drive onto the A 995 towards Kreuz München-Süd around 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon. He obviously overestimated the grip of his new tires and fell in the slight right-hand bend of the motorway entrance. The man skidded a few meters across the asphalt; because he was not wearing protective clothing on his arms, he suffered abrasions. However, his helmet saved him from serious injuries. After the medical first aid by the crew of an ambulance, he was taken to a Munich hospital for further care. Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at €3,000. The Taufkirchen volunteer fire brigade came with several vehicles to secure the scene of the accident.
