The municipality of Oberhaching released a kindergarten employee after it became known that he was said to have abused children in care homes in northern Germany in the 1980s. The public prosecutor sees no reason to investigate.
There is horror and uncertainty in Oberhaching these days, especially among parents and staff of the childcare facilities and those responsible in the town hall. A television documentary on ARD entitled “Deportation Children – Abuse and Violence in Children’s Cures” raised the suspicion that an educator who may have sexually abused children in a convalescent home on the Baltic Sea in the 1980s has been working in kindergartens in Oberhaching for many years .
