Oberbiberg – through the town clear again – district of Munich

Due to difficult underground conditions, it takes three weeks longer than planned, but on Tuesday, November 9th, the time has come: At 8 a.m. the Oberhachingen Mayor Stefan Schelle and the Bavarian Minister of Transport Kerstin Schreyer (both CSU) will be driving through Oberbiberg again officially open the traffic. The heavily used street was closed at the beginning of May for extensive redesign and renovation. Thanks to the revised routing, the curve at the entrance to the village in particular could be defused and a continuous walkway built right up to the barrier-free bus stop. The total project costs amount to around 1.5 million euros, one third of which is borne by the municipality and two thirds by the Free State of Bavaria.
